Another jam session turned into a full track. Recorded on a smoky afternoon, the main melody came first, then I added drums and a bassline. I was experimenting with external modulation of the ms-20. The external signal came from the volca bass, the ms-20 itself, and the echo return channel through an aux bus so that when I tweaked the volca bass resonance, the tone of the ms-20 brightened. This, along with the echo sound had a unique tendency to cause the ms-20 to slowly return to it's original tone, wavering in time with the echo. Drums are from volca beats and sampler, and the bassline is a D.S.I. Mopho Keys.
